About The Entomology Program

We are a group of students, staff, and faculty that are exploring basic and applied aspects of biology and our chosen field, entomology. Our outstanding permanent and adjunct faculty, high quality facilities that include an insectary, greenhouses, apiary, well-equipped labs, and the 2.5 million specimen M. T. James Entomological Collection, make WSU an exceptional place to study and conduct research.

About Washington State University

At WSU, hands on learning is a given. Students work side by side with professors whose scholarship and research is discussed globally. Many undergraduates enter national competitions in areas as varied as robotics, clean energy, mock trial, interior design, and business. Others present papers at conferences and publish their findings in scholarly journals. WSU strives to deepen students understanding of the global community. Students can choose from more than 1,500 study abroad programs in 86 countries. Some 1,700 international students add a rich layer of cultural diversity to the main WSU campus in Pullman.
